A flat plane of material is presented to the user, only becoming a seating surface during the act of sitting. It is not possible to observe the chair’s form, only to experience its nature. Four-way stretch fabric conforms exactly to the sitter’s body, giving a snug, enveloping support.

This was my first ever solo project in IDE and the first time I had ever worked with metal. I wanted the chair to have a simplicity similar to the style of Dieter Rams without falling into the trap of making something that wasn't practical or enjoyable to use. The chap in the chair below is my dad by the way.
