The Brother Printer Orchestra was an advertising project I worked on with is this good?, Justin Pentecost and the fantastic Mike Harrison. The concept was to bring an orchestra of defunct equipment new life and play music via different drive frequencies for motors, beepers and a bit of draw banging!

Mike and Justin handled the hardware control between them - I managed is this good's need and helped mutually design our ideal controller - which Mike designed and built. This was all real-time MIDI driven - you hit a note on a keyboard, we mapped it to where and how it was best played. Will Cohen was the whiz who arranged the track - a jolly clever and nice chap.
